About Valtide

A decade of offshore wind, both sides of the table.

Valtide is an independent offshore wind consultancy working across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.

It is built on more than ten years of hands-on offshore wind experience — project certification (IECRE OD-502) and consenting under BSH and BSMI, across wind turbines, foundations, offshore substations and cable systems, from concept and permitting through design review, surveillance coordination and certification follow-up.

That experience spans both sides of the table: developer-side certification and consent, and OEM/supplier-side package certification. It reaches back to certification work at Germanischer Lloyd (now DNV). Valtide takes on engagements directly or through established partner networks.

New IECRE OD-502 requirements are landing: more manufacturing surveillance on turbines, design certification of secondary steel, interface verification, cable certification, and a sharper focus on cable protection (CPS).
